  1. All delegates /attendees / participants for INDICON2018, will have to register themselves for the event, under the appropriate category as shown above.
  2. The registration process involves submitting a few personal details and the Paper ID, if applicable, before being taken to the Payment Gateway, for making the necessary payment.
  3. Please note that the fees shown above are exclusive of all taxes and levies. Any gateway charges along with applicable taxes or levies, if any, will have to be borne by the registrant.
  4. The registration portal will open on November 1, 000hrs and will close at 2359hrs on November 15, 2018, unless extended.
  5. Registrations till 1700hrs of November 07, 2018, will enjoy a flat 15% Early Bird discount on the fees shown above. Please note that the Early Bird discount is being offered only for full registrations and not on any other category (students).
  6. One registration is valid for one accepted paper. If you have more than two accepted papers, you may write to the Finance Chair at finance@indicon2018.in, with your accepted paper IDs in the subject line, for any specific discounts that may be offered on a case-to-case basis.
  7. Registrations can only be in the name of authors who have already been registered against that paper ID on EDAS.  No requests for fresh registrations will be entertained.
  8. The registration process is different from the upload of the final, camera-ready version of the manuscript which will continue to be through EDAS, along with the collection of the Electronic Copyright Form.
  9. For the purposes of registration, any applicant will be considered to be in the student category, if he or she continues to be on the rolls of any registered educational institution, as on August 31, 2018 (deadline for submission of papers). The student ID as well as a copy of an authorization letter from the Head of the Institutiion / Department Chair/Head will have to be sent to the email id finance@indicon2018.in, with a copy to info@indicon2018.in. The subject line should read “Paper ID: Credentials”, without the quotes, where Paper ID stands for the ten digit EDAS paper ID.  Please note that your registration is incomplete until your receive an email from the Finance Chair, confirming your registration. This might take about 48hrs. You are requested to be patient.
  10. For the purposes of registration, all delegates from non-academic institutions (including Government, R&D labs, PSUs, etc) will be considered as delegates from Industry and will have to register under that category.
  11. Please keep a copy of the transaction ID, generated by the payment gateway as well as by your bank. You may need these later, if you need to track your payment / registration.
  12. Please ensure that you carefully enter the ten digit, EDAS-supplied paper ID when asked for it during the registration process. Any error at this point will mean that we will no longer be able to track your registration / that it will take a much longer time.
  13. All correspondence regarding your registration for INDICON2018, should contain your Paper ID as well as the transaction ID and any other details that you think might be relevant.
  14. Please note that INDICON2018, or its hosts, represented by the Organising Committee as well as the IEEE India Council or the IEEE Madras Section, WILL NOT be responsible for any loss, financial or otherwise, caused by improper transactions conducted online. While we have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure a safe online transaction, it is the registrant’s responsibility, while paying the registration fee, to secure their user ids, passwords, Paper ID, EDAS ID, etc.
  15. Requests for cancellation of registration will not be entertained normally. Any such requests will have to be sent to the Finance Chair at finance@indicon2018.in, with the relevant details like Paper ID, names of authors, transaction ID and registration ID generated (if any), along with the amount paid, and the reason for cancellation. Such requests will be entertained only till 1600hrs on November 15, 2018 and will be decided on a case-to-case basis.
  16. If permitted, registration charges will be refunded, after deducting a processing fee of Rs. 1000/- (irrespective of category) and will be through an account-payee cheque in the name of the registered author, only a week after the end of the Conference. Any service charges or taxes / levies that you might have paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
